Reggie: Zelda, Mario Kart, And Mario Odyssey Bought By Over 50% Of Switch Owners

Following the announcement Nintendo Switch hardware has sold over 10 million units worldwide, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime spoke to Variety revealing more information on the software side of things.

Reggie said over 50% of Nintendo Switch owners have purchased The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Mario Odyssey, which has help boost the sell-through of the console. Splatoon 2 has been purchased by 1 out of 4 Switch owners.

If the sales momentum continues through the holiday season, Reggie believes it’s possible the Switch will sell above what the Wii sold in its first year of sales.
