Aside from the new Pokemon Sword and Shield info drop, Game Freak will also be celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a special livestream on October 16.

In the original announcement, it was stated that Game Freak’s 30th Anniversary livestream will focus on their other projects such as Little Town Hero and Giga Wrecker ALT. That said, it seems there might be something Pokemon related being shared during the show, if the official announcement tweet is any indication:
