Nintendo will soon be discontinuing their popular Game Vouchers for their Nintendo Switch games.
The Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers are exclusive vouchers available only to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. These vouchers can only be purchased in sets of two, and essentially allow players to redeem two games at a discounted price (for example, paying USD99.99 for two games worth USD120 in value). Vouchers cannot be used to redeem Switch 2 games.
The vouchers are still available for purchase from now until 11:59 PM Pacific Time January 30, 2026. Vouchers purchased will remain valid for 12 months after the date of purchase, and can still be redeemed even after the service is discontinued.
Strangely, Nintendo UK previously stated that new games will continue to be added to the service “throughout 2026”, hinting that they will continue supporting the vouchers during the validity period. With that in mind, fans may be interested in picking a pair up before the end of January, just in case an interesting games are made available.
