Rumor: Amazon UK Lists Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword For Switch

We have some interesting news today about a potential new port of a classic Nintendo title for the Switch.

Fans have discovered a listing on Amazon UK for The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released back in 2011 for the Wii, built around motion controls and the Wii motionplus add-on.

The listing can be discovered on the retailer by searching through the “PC & Video Games” department, but not if no department is specified. Furthermore it lists “1 January 2030” as the release date, although its highly likely that this is just a placeholder.

Without official confirmation however, there is no telling whether this is an actual hint that Skyward Sword is coming to Switch, or if is the result of a clerical error or some other explanation. We will be sure to report back with more details should they become available.
