Analogue recently filed a trademark for the Analogue Pocket, which hints at a system that can play portable games such as those for the Game Boy.
Analogue has released a number of gaming platforms over the years that allow fans to play their classic games without needing the original system.
The mission statement on their website reads:
“We make products to celebrate and explore the history of video games with the respect it deserves.”
So far we have seen them create NES and SNES devices and it looks like they’ll be entering the next console generation which is the Game Boy. Nothing is official at the moment but we will keep you informed if more news on the rumored Analogue Pocket surfaces.
