A rumor has surfaced about another classic videogame icon getting a new animated adaptation soon.

This rumor comes via What’s On Netflix, whose sources claim that an animated series based on Crash Bandicoot is in the works at the streaming platform. The outlet claims that WildBrain Studios has been tapped on to work on the show. WildBrain Studios previously worked on Sonic Prime the Netflix cartoon based on Sonic the Hedgehog, making them a safe choice to adapt another fuzzy 90s gaming mascot.

At the time of this writing however, there has been no word from official sources about this project, so take the news with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
