A new rumor has surfaced about Dark Souls II today, following the announcement of Dark Souls Remastered’s release date for Switch and Dark Souls Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One.
The rumor, coming from Bandai Namco Entertainment sources close to LeakyPandy, claim that development for Dark Souls II is currently underway for Nintendo Switch. This should be no surprise as Kotaku UK revealed in a report all three Dark Souls games will eventually make their way to Nintendo Switch.
Adding on to the rumor, LeakyPandy said Bandai Namco believes Dark Souls Trilogy will not have an impact on Dark Souls Remastered Switch sales. The reason why is because old titles (Go Vacation was cited as an example) have sold well on Nintendo Switch, and Dark Souls Trilogy is a repackaging of all 3 previously released Dark Souls game rather than a remaster like Dark Souls Remastered.
