Earlier this year, Nintendo announced the Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which promised to add several new remastered tracks from previous Mario Kart games.
Since the launch of the first wave back in March, Nintendo has yet to reveal any new information about subsequent waves in the pass, leaving many fans wondering when the next wave will arrive.
In this midst of this information drought, a new advertisement spotted in Japanese 7-11s has sparked speculation that we could be getting news very soon. As seen in the screenshot shared by @PushDustIn on Twitter, the advert shows off the first wave in the course pass, along with teasers for future waves hidden by question marks.
What many have found interesting about this ad is a notice in the top right corner, which states in Japanese that this ad should not be displayed after July 17th 2022. It is believed that this is because the ad will be outdated following this date, suggesting that Nintendo could be planning to reveal more courses in the DLC soon.
Of course, until a reveal actually comes to pass, this will all remain speculation. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
