Earlier this year, a mysterious rating for No More Heroes on Nintendo Switch popped up, sparking speculation that Suda51 would soon be bringing more of his games to the system. Well, it seems like that’s apparently not all that his fans have to look forward to!
Several fans have since dug up what appears to be a listing for a Killer7 remastered release on Nintendo Switch – which was spotted on the LinkedIn profile of Engine Software’s VP of Development (highlighted in green below). In particular, this VP is listed as the executive producer of the title.
Killer7 originally hit the GameCube and PS2 in 2005, followed by Killer7 Remastered launching via Steam for PCs in 2018. This, however, appears to be the first ever mention of a Switch version in the wild.
As with all unconfirmed information, we urge our readers to take this listing with a grain of skepticism, at least until we receive some official confirmation from Suda51 himself. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future.
[UPDATE: The LinkedIn page’s owner, Ruud van de Moosdij, has since clarified that this listing of the game on Nintendo Switch was a mistake. Read more over here.]
