Rumor: Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders To Start On April 21st Or April 30th For US

Following rumors of the Canadian pre-order opening date, we have new rumors surfacing for when the US pre-orders will begin.

This rumor comes via Billbil-kun, the same person who leaked the Canadian Switch 2 pre-order dates. Billbil-kun says they have conflicting sources on the start date for the US, with some claiming that that the pre-orders for the Switch 2 console will begin on either April 21st or April 30th, while the accessory pre-orders are to start on April 30th.

Through some US retailers, I’ve found conflicting data for pre-order start date of NS2 Hardware:

For Switch 2 Consoles:
📅 Apr 21 or Apr 30 depending on retailer

For accessories like Switch 2 Pro controller,
📅 Apr 30

These dates are somewhat in-line with the rumored Canadian pre-order opening date of April 23rd, which would make sense as Nintendo would not want American and Canadian buyers to clash over Switch 2 pre-orders.

Earlier this month, Nintendo chose to delay opening pre-orders for the US and Canada in light of the Liberation Day tariffs, which would have significant effects on products heading to the US markets.
