A new rumor from mainland China has suggested the release date and price of the official Chinese Nintendo Switch.
An unverified poster has claimed Tencent will release the Nintendo Switch on December 10, 2019 for 2099 RMB (USD298). The same person also claimed the console comes with 1 year warranty and has the same specifications as the international SKU. At press time, Tencent has not commented on the rumor.
In the same week, we also learned that an authorized Nintendo Switch online reseller was set up on Tmall, a major e-commerce site in mainland China. It is operated by Shanghao Baozun Inc, an e-commerce solutions provider. The timing of this could suggest that the above rumor holds some weight.
