Rumor: Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Gym Leaders, New Pokemon, And More Seemingly Leaked
Although Pokemon Scarlet And Violet are due to be released in less than six months time, the Pokemon Company has been eerily quiet about what they have in store, perhaps hoping to preserve some fun surprises for a game that looks to shake up the formula in a big way.
However, despite the Pokemon Company’s attempts to keep the game under wraps, some key information about the games has reportedly leaked online. This leaked information includes screenshots claimed to be new characters and Pokemon, as well as text details about new features and even more new Pokemon. Although, the credibility of the leaks is still in question given the lack of official information from The Pokemon Company to confirm at least part of the info.
Nevertheless, a compilation of these supposedly leaked screenshots as well as the leaked details can be found below (Via Centro Leaks). Readers are strongly advised not to read on past the spoiler warning if they don’t wish to be potentially spoiled.

Oops, missed one gym leader image.

Another leak from the apparent source (that no longer exists).
– Wooper gets a Poison type regional form.
– It evolves into a brand new Pokémon, not Quagsire. pic.twitter.com/F5THH0zL6G— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 11, 2022
This was apparently also posted by the same source pic.twitter.com/RtccD9M2KF

– There's no new Eevee evolution.
– Joltik, Milotic, Wailord, Metagross, Jynx and Golurk are NOT in the game.

POKÉMON SCARLET AND VIOLET LEAKS PART 3.
– The region is called in japanese Paldea (from Pokémon + Aldea [Village in Spanish]). This is a rough translation; the original Japanese text is in the attached image
– Mega Evolutions are NOT back pic.twitter.com/JA4Q8u0OBj— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 12, 2022
– New flamingo Pokémon
– Not all Hisuian Pokémon are in the game
– The gimmick doesn't involve Pokémon getting an extra type
– There are sidequests in the game

– There is no new Dodrio form.
– Koraidon/Miraidon DO NOT have 5 forms.

– The leaker said that the Gen 9 starters are the only starters in the game.
[At least in the main adventure, we don't know if any previous starters are transfer-only]
— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 12, 2022
– A Gen 5 Pokémon gets a new evolution.

More images of new Pokémon.

Looks like the Amoonguss and Wigglytuff will be a new kind of Pokémon introduced in Gen 9.
Not Regional Forms, not Evolutions, but a new concept. pic.twitter.com/IRS4T61BqE

Oh and by the way, to clear any doubts the second Pokémon is Girafarig's evolution.

POKÉMON SCARLET AND VIOLET LEAKS PART 4
-The Jigglypuff is an ancient form.
– The crystallization gimmick seems to power up types, so it's like gaining an additional STAB. For example, you can power up Pikachu to get a Fire type boost (but it won't get additional weaknesses).— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 14, 2022
– Gyms can be done in any order, however there is no scaling.
– You must clear "3 routes/quests" to see the ending. Those are not past/present/future, we don't know what they are exactly.
– You can re-battle gym leaders.— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 14, 2022
– Mimikyu and Magikarp are in, but not Applin.
– No difficulty options.
– Elite 4 is back.
– There are clasess, exams and interviews in the game.— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 14, 2022
– Also apparently there's a hammer Pokémon or at least one that uses a hammer.
— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 14, 2022
POKÉMON SCARLET AND VIOLET LEAKS PART 5
– Tauros has a new regional form
– Overworld shinies are "probably" back
– Trainer customization is more limited; all clothing options are school uniforms
– A new Pokémon that looks similar to Dugtrio— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 15, 2022
– A child becomes one of the Elite 4
– There's a "bonding quest" (whatever that is) that Eevee fans will enjoy
– There aren't any cameos from old characters in the main story— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 15, 2022
Very interesting:
– The ancient forms are completely different Pokémon, with a different Pokédex number and name. They are not just forms. pic.twitter.com/ygLDP3q3Pz
— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 15, 2022
– All Fossil Pokémon are not back.
— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 15, 2022
– There's a new auction house where you can buy items (not sell). You participate with other NPCs.
— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) July 15, 2022
– A correction: earlier in the thread we said that the ancient Pokémon don't evolve, that seems to have been a mistranslation, so ignore that for now. We don't know if the ancient Pokémon evolve or not.

As with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
