Despite announcing the Switch 2, Nintendo’s full plans for 2025 remain largely a mystery outside of a couple of games announced late last year.
A few hours back, retailer Newegg briefly caused a stir among fans with its listing for a $50 eshop card. The description of the card listed several games scheduled for 2025, with the addition of a “New 3D Mario” and “A Legend of Zelda Remake/Remaster” among the titles we already knew about.
At the time of this writing, this description has since been edited to remove mention of the “new” games. Fans have been left to speculate whether Newegg unintentionally leaked Nintendo’s upcoming titles, or if those mentions were simply placeholders the retailer was using to push sales. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
