Last year, SEGA and Paramount confirmed that Shadow The Hedgehog would be making his silver screen debut in the upcoming third Sonic The Hedgehog movie.  However, it seems that the studio may have even bigger plans for the fan favorite.

According to reportedly reputable industry insider DanielRPK, Paramount is planning an entire Shadow The Hedgehog spin-off movie. DanielRPK has shared correct info in the past, but this move is still a pretty safe assumption. Paramount will likely wish to continue capitalizing on the success of the films, and has already greenlit a separate spin-off featuring Knuckles The Echidna.  Furthermore, Shadow was also once the star of his own spin-off game, although it received a fairly mixed reception.

That said, we caution readers to take these rumors with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
