Following its appearance on the Korean Ratings board, the release date for Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition appears to have been leaked.

This rumor comes via Billbil-kun, who has leaked reliable information about release dates in the past. Billbil-kun claims that Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition will release on June 23, 2026 for Switch 2. This date is significant because it marks the franchise’s 35th anniversary, and a definitive edition for one of Sonic’s more well-received outings would be suitable for celebrating the occasion.

Billbil-kun also speculates that the game could be featured during the upcoming June 2nd Playstation State Of Play showcase, where they will presumably officially announce its existence and release date. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
