
Rumor: Source Codes For Various Classic Pokemon Titles Leaked, Along With Beta Sprites, Concept Art, And Scrapped Pokemon
Earlier this week, Game Freak was hit by a massive data breach which reportedly included the source codes and internal design materials for several classic Pokemon games.
The leak reportedly includes source codes for games spanning from Gen 3 (Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire), Gen 4 (Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Heartgold/Soulsilver), and Gen 5 (Pokemon Black/White). Highlights include beta sprites for existing and scrapped Pokemon, map editors for the aforementioned games, preliminary assets, and concept art.
