Update – Two retailers have listed a price drop for the game.
Ubisoft is planning to reduce the price of their highly anticipated Nintendo Switch game, Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a month before its launch.
This information comes from an anonymous source who is currently working at Ubisoft. We have reviewed the documents provided by this source and have confirmed its authenticity.
According to the source, Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle is about to see a price drop of about US$10, reducing its suggested retail price from US$59.99 to US$49.99. The price drop will be effective before launch.
This would come as a surprise as the game is due for the Switch in less than a month and a price drop this close to the launch date is usually unheard of.
It may be a couple of days before we know for certain whether this rumor turns out to be true.
Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle will arrive for the Nintendo Switch on 29 August 2017.

I think that price drop. Is a sweet idea for more people to buy the game. If true. To bad I have already pre preordered the game. I guess it sucks for me.
If the price drops then it drops, the retailer will only charge you the launch price so it's going down for you too.
