Rumor: Upcoming Nintendo Direct Will Announce New 2D Mario Game And SNES Remake
Following the previous rumor about a Nintendo Direct coming this week, we have another rumor hinting at some potential announcements that will be shared in the show.
These rumors come via @Pyoro_ND, a leaker who has shared accurate information in the past. Pyoro_ND claims that the Nintendo Direct will not only happen this week, but will introduce a new “2D Super Mario Bros” and a “Remake of a SNES Classic”. In addition the 2D Super Mario Bros game will apparently not have “New” in the title, suggesting that it will be a completely original game and not a remake.
