Redittor OatmealDome has once again leaked a bunch of data-mined information (link) on possible upcoming Splatoon 2 Contents.
In a nutshell, there will be a new ranked game mode, a possible scrapped game mode and special weapon type, and playable Octarians. New models of the Salmonoids were also leaked.
The next upcoming Splatoon 2 content update will be released this Friday. Whether or not we will see them end of this week, only time will tell
