After months of relative silence, we now have an update on the western release of Rune Factory 4 Special for the Switch.
Although initially aiming for a Winter 2019 release date, it seems that Rune Factory 4 Special’s western release has been pushed back to sometime in January/February 2020 or later. This news comes from a customer support emails sent by publisher XSeed, as well as updates to retailer listings and Nintendo’s official site.
When pressed on this issue by fans, XSeed’s official Twitter account explained that a new release date was coming “soon”.
We will be sure to bring further updates on the release date as they come.
Rune Factory 4 Special is currently available for the Nintendo Switch in Japan.
