Earlier today during Marvelous’ fourth livestream for Rune Factory 4 Special, some new details were shared about the upcoming Rune Factory 5 for Nintendo Switch.

To start, Rune Factory 5 was once again confirmed for a 2020 release on Switch. Furthermore, the game’s special bonus for Rune Factory 4 Special players was detailed. Players who have Rune Factory 4 Special save data on their Switch will have two guest characters from that title appear in Rune Factory 5. The purple color of the logo was also hinted to have some significance to Rune Factory 5‘s theme.

If you have a save data from Rune Factory 4 Special when booting up Rune Factory 5, two guest characters from RF4 will appear in RF5.
