Christophe Galati, the developer of Save me Mr Tako, has shared an update on the progress of the game’s development on the Nicalis blog.
Save me Mr Tako was initially pinned down for a 2017 release, but due to the large amount of content the game has, it has taken longer than expected to fully playtest it. The game is now at Nintendo lotcheck and is expected to release in early 2018.
As a surprise, Galati revealed Save me Mr Tako will support 16:9 and 4:3 screen display options on Switch. It’ll also support “windowed” mode with 10 different backgrounds to choose from.
