Last year, Sega announced that they would be bringing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 to Switch as part of their “Sega Ages” series.
In the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, the company confirmed that the port will include “Knuckles In Sonic The Hedgehog 2”. This special mode let’s you play as Knuckles, and was originally only playable by inserting a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 cartridge on top of the Sonic & Knuckles when the games released on Genesis.
Unfortunately, a release date for the title on Switch has yet to be confirmed. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
