Sega has announced via Twitter that their long awaited Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini will be releasing worldwide on September 19 2019.

The console will contain 40 titles, with the following 10 being confirmed:

- Shining Force
- Vampire Killer
- Wrestleball
- Gunstar Heroes
- Comix Zone
- Rent A Hero
- Space Harrier II
