Shigeru Miyamoto Thanks Fans For Voting For Nintendo’s Games In Japan’s Video Game General Election Poll

Earlier this week, TV Asahi aired a special program where they revealed the Top 100 Console Games as voted by their users in Japan, a list which included many Nintendo games, including The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild at number 1.

Over on the official Nintendo Twitter account, Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario, posted a special message thanking fans for voting for Nintendo titles in the poll, promising that the company will continue to bring new videogame experiences to everyone in the future. You can check the message out for yourself below, along with a translation via NintendoLife:

“This is Miyamoto. Thank you for voting for many Nintendo titles in the “Video Game General Election” that aired last night. It was also an opportunity to recall each scene of game development that has been repeated for nearly 40 years. We will continue to create video games that will bring new experiences to everyone.”
