Gaming fans will likely remember the cult-classic ‘Journey‘ for PlayStation systems – a puzzle adventure where players interact wordlessly with others from across the globe. Well, it looks like the developers of that timeless game might also have something in the works for Nintendo fans, soon!
During a earlier interview with MCVUK, thatgamecompany revealed that their adventure game Sky: Children of the Light would be heading to ‘all platforms’ in the future. While thatgamecompany didn’t outright confirm Nintendo Switch as one of these platforms, the studio’s co-founder and creative director Jenova Chen does eventually name-drop the system as one where players will enjoy crossplay support:
“…our game runs on iPad, on PC, it will run on console in the future. Android [should come] within a month. In the future, it’s going to cross all platforms. And whether you have Playstation or Switch we will support crossplay.“
As far as we know, this is pretty much the first time that we’ve heard about the game hitting Nintendo Switch. All we need now is an actual announcement and release window, if it’s really happening!
