Developer Mega Crit has finally rolled out a major update for Slay the Spire to fix several bugs and critical issues plaguing the critically-acclaimed game on Switch.
In particular, the team has implemented a fix for the frequent crashing during gameplay, including fixes for the save bugs and related issues. But that’s not all, it also seems that more patches are on the way as the team strives to deliver the best possible experience on the hybrid platform.

Hey everyone, here are the official patch notes for Version 1.02 on the Switch. The focus of this patch was on console specific bugfixes as the porting team continues to work on making the experience as stable as possible.
Fixed Lock-On bug
Fixed crash when starting a new run after the player had played the game for many runs
Fixed double rest site issue
Fixed Ascension text not being placed properly
Fixed gameplay pause for Lagavulin and Hexaghost
Fixed issue where some data would be copied to new save slot
Fixed issue where the first save slot would load incorrectly in some cases
