Smash Ultimate Fighter’s Pass DLC Trailer Now Says Joker Is “Approaching…” And Not “Approaching: April”
A minor change? Or a hint of something more?
Previously, we reported that Best Buy may have leaked Joker’s official Smash Ultimate render. Now, a user on Twitter spotted an interesting change in the Smash Ultimate Fighter’s Pass Trailer concerning the character.
Apparently, Joker’s teaser has been changed from reading “Approaching: April” to just “Approaching…”. You can see the comparison in the tweets below:
Did anyone else notice that the #SuperSmashBrosUltimate DLC trailer no longer says "Approaching April". It just says "Approaching…". Are we getting gameplay later?? #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/ftbrxmL2Cw

What could this change mean? The first and probably worst case scenario is that Joker has been delayed. While this would be disappointing, its understandable if the devs need more time to get the character working properly.
The second possibility is that Joker’s release is still on schedule, and site was changed because it would look weird if the text still said “Approaching: April” when the month has already arrived. Whatever the case, let’s hope we get a new announcement clearing things up soon!
