Here’s a piece of good news for those of you living in Hong Kong.
The SNES Classic Edition will be getting an official release in Hong Kong. Not much details have been released, but we do know that the Hong Kong release will be based off the US version of the SNES Classic Edition, which comes with 21 games.
Apparently the packaging of the SNES Classic Edition in Hong Kong will be exactly the same as the US version. Stickers will be pasted on the box to show that it’s distributed by Nintendo Hong Kong, the AC adapter has been changed to a UK one, and it’ll have 1 year warranty.
Currently there’s no word on when the SNES Classic Edition will launch in Hong Kong, as Nintendo Hong Kong has not made any official announcement yet.
Also we’d like to point out the SNES Classic Edition will be the very first “Classics” product officially distributed by Nintendo in Hong Kong, as the NES Classic Edition and Famicom Classic Edition were never officially released there.
