The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD players have discovered a serious bug that could potentially cause a softlock at a certain point in the game.
The bug is reportedly encountered at Lanayru Mining Facility, where players have to solve a puzzle involving pushing a block into the correct position to progress. As documented by several players on Reddit, the block may sometimes get stuck along the path, preventing players from moving it and rendering them unable to get past the puzzle:
At the time of this writing, it is unclear what exactly is causing this bug to occur, although some have speculated that it could be caused by not blowing away the sand out of the path before attempting the puzzle. Some players who encountered the bug have stated that it was fixed after restarting the game, and this seems to be the recommended fix for now.
