Want to re-live the joys of the original Legend of Zelda (NES), but don’t have the retro hardware or Switch Online subscription to do so? Now there’s a new way to simulate the classic adventure in the modern game Fortnite!
Recently, the YouTuber Mustard revealed his masterpiece to the world, created with Fortnite’s Creative Mode: a deathrun course based on the original NES game’s world map! It even comes with nine elaborate puzzles that reference the original game’s main dungeons.
Given that it’s more of a homage, however, it only lasts about 20 minutes in total – but you can definitely see Mustard’s passion for the project in the video below!
The Original Legend of Zelda In Fortnite with 9 Dungeons! I’ve been working on this map for a while and had SO much fun making it. I love Zelda, I love Fortnite, I love puzzle maps and deathruns. This has everything in it! Hope you have fun!
If you’d like to try out the level for yourself, you can use the map code 2326-3456-6999 while accessing Creative Mode in Fortnite. Have fun!
