Today is April 3 in Hong Kong, and something funny has happened to the official Nintendo Hong Kong website.
When visitors try to access the website, they are greeted by a “404 Not Found” error. What makes things even weirder is the fact that the website’s template has completely changed – everything is written in Japanese (instead of Chinese) and the site template seems to belong to Radishbo-ya, a food company based in Japan.
Not only has the home page been affected. Trying to access other parts of the website by entering its URL such as the Nintendo Switch section, amiibo section, and press release section return a 404 error.
We believe something has went terribly wrong while Nintendo Hong Kong was trying to set up their online store for the Nintendo eShop which is scheduled to open today.
