It looks like the official sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be speeding forward very soon!

New documents recently filed with the British Columbia Film Commission have reportedly unveiled that the second Sonic the Hedgehog film will commence production as early as March 2021. With the codename “Emerald Hill”, the film will apparently be overseen by Abraham Fraser – who was the location manager of the 2020 Sonic film.

As reported earlier this year, the Sonic movie sequel is slated to premiere in April 2022. We’ll report back as we hear more in the future.
