Sonic Origins Collection Announced

Following the rumors, SEGA has officially announced a new collection of classic Sonic games called Sonic Origins Collection.

The collection will contain Sonic The Hedgehog 1, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, as well as Sonic CD. It will also reportedly include some added bonus features as well. Although no platforms were explicitly mentioned, the announcement does state that it will be coming to “modern consoles”. We will be sure to report back with more details about confirmed platforms as they come.
