Earlier this year, SEGA and Paramount officially confirmed that the sequel film Sonic the Hedgehog 2 would be hitting theatres on 8 April 2022. Well, it looks like progress on the film is now going swimmingly!
Director Jeff Fowler confirmed this week that production on the movie has now begun. This lines up with past documents filed with the British Columbia Film Commission – which suggested that filming of the movie would indeed start this month.
