Later this month, the highly anticipated third entry in the Sonic The Hedgehog live-action film series will premier in theatres, featuring fan-favorite character Shadow The Hedgehog in a starring role.

Ahead of the premier, director Jeff Fowler has shared the first piece of concept art rendered for the film, which depicts Shadow and Maria aboard Space Colony Ark. Fowler describes the relationship between Shadow and Maria as being one of the most important in the Sonic universe, and it seems the team was eager to do it justice from day 1.
