Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Trailer Shown At CinemaCon 2019
It seems Paramount have finally revealed the anticipated trailer for the upcoming live action Sonic The Hedgehog movie at CinemaCon 2019 with fans being very anxious to see what it will be like!
Unfortunately as of writing this article, Paramount have yet to officially release the trailer in HD but we do have a roundup of information from people who attended the event.
Here is a summary:
. Two trailers were shown
.First trailer showed Sonic zooming around a desert really quickly and then tranquilized by James Marsden’s cop. Sonic is here to save the world from Robotnik’s transformer like robots with the song “Gangsters Paradise” playing in the background.
.Second trailer shows Jim Carrey playing Dr. Ivo Robotnik with a big black mustache while the song “Everybody Dance Now” plays in the background. His acting seems to be very good and will stand out in the movie.
.Sonic does match his appearance in previous leaks. He will be around 4 foot tall with muscular legs and fur similar to Detective Pikachu.

Paramount then played a second trailer which was Dr Robotnik centric. Jim Carrey is basically playing Ace Ventura but smart. He’s got hair and a handle bar mustache but it ended with him in full bald, red suit, glasses glory. #CinemaCon

Also the first Sonic teaser was set to “Gangster’s Paradise” and the Robotnik teaser is set to “Everybody Dance Now”

Got a look at the #SonicTheHedgehog trailer, focusing on Sonic teaming up with James Marsden to fight Dr. Robotnik and then got a Jim Carrey-centered version of the trailer where he seems to be back in comedic form. He may well be the best selling point of this one. #CinemaCon

These descriptions seems to fit in very well with the Reddit screening test leak from a couple of weeks ago and a leak from Dreamcast Guy who had claimed he saw the trailer with him mentioning that “Gangsters Paradise” would play in the trailer!
