Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the Spanish government has declared a state of emergency, which would force some businesses to close.
This has affected many game retailers across Spain, especially for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and DOOM Eternal, both which are launching on March 20, 2020. That’s because stores in certain provinces have been forced to close in light of the state of emergency, and some have promised to “do their best” to release the game to customers on launch date.
GAME, the largest video game retailer in Spain, has recommended customers who pre-ordered games with them to switch to home delivery.
