Following the latest update, Nintendo has begun the Sizzle Season for Splatoon 3.

Starting today, all Splatoon 3 players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership will have access to Sizzle Season 2023. This update adds several new stages, weapons, and gear, along with the new Challenge Mode.

To recap, Challenge Mode features limited-time events with specific rules, requiring players to win 5 battles in order to net the rewards. The first Challenge of the Sizzle Season is the New Season Challenge, which runs from the following dates:

· June 2, 9-11 p.m. PT
· June 3, 5-7 a.m. PT
· June 3, 1-3 p.m. PT

• A new catalog, including new gear, titles, Splashtags, decorations, stickers, and emotes.
• A new battle stage: Barnacle & Dime.
• A returning battle stage from the Splatoon 2 game: Humpback Pump Track.
• 2 new main weapons.
• 9 new sets of existing main weapons paired with different sub and special weapons.
• A new Salmon Run stage: Jammin’ Salmon Junction.
• 11 new Tableturf Battle cards.
