During the recent Splatoon 3 direct, Nintendo announced a Splatoon 3 World Premiere Splatfest for later this month.
The Splatfest will run on August 27th 2022 from 9am to 9pm, and will give players their first look at the new Splatfest format, where players have three teams to choose from instead of two. As detailed in the presentation, the theme of this Splatfest is Rock, Paper, Scissors. More details about how this format works can be found via the Tweets below:
