During the recent Nintendo Direct, the first post-launch splatfest for Splatoon 3 was detailed.

The theme of this new splatfest is “What would you bring to a deserted island”, with the choices being Gear (Shiver), Grub (Frye), and Fun (Big Man). It will run from September 23rd to September 25th 2022 PT. It was also reconfirmed that the game will be receiving free updates in the coming months.
