Square Enix have finally addressed the music bug which has plagued every Final Fantasy IX version for years!

Over on Twitter, the Final Fantasy PR account has confirmed that Square Enix is now at work to fix the issue. While the patch has already been rolled out for the PS4 version, the Switch version will be getting the same fixes once the patch is ready.

Here’s the announcement:

We've heard your feedback, and have patched #FinalFantasy IX on #PS4 (version 1.02) so background music will not restart after every battle or Tetra Master match.

We can also confirm that we're working to fix this issue on #NintendoSwitch, #Xbox One, #Windows 10 and #Steam. pic.twitter.com/Oq3zPNEzxv
