Aspyr has shared an update regarding “Restored Content” DLC that was planned for the Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Switch release.
As announced on Twitter, the DLC has unfortunately been cancelled for Switch. As compensation, players who purchased the game on Switch prior to the announcement ill be given a complimentary key for either a copy of the game’s Steam release, or one of Aspyr’s other Star Wars game ports on the Switch. No reason was given for the DLC’s cancellation on Switch.
The Restored Content DLC adds a number of cut features from the game’s original release, including new dialogue and interactions, a bonus mission with fan-favorite droid HK-47, as well as an updated ending. It was likely one of the re-release’s big selling points for fans, and it is a shame that it will not be coming to the Switch version of the game.
More details about how to claim the complimentary game code can be found here.
