Critically Acclaimed farming simulation game, Stardew Valley’s developers have replied to a tweet by @bassieboy96 and @mattysaurus regarding a couple of things about the game’s release on the Nintendo Switch.
In the original tweet, @bassieboy96 asked about a release date for the Nintendo Switch’s version of Stardew Valley. To which the developers reply:
We’re waiting until we’re absolutely certain before we share the release date. Don’t want to disappoint if testing turns something up
At this point, @mattysaurus then asked if there were any plans for a physical release of Stardew Valley for the Nintendo Switch. To which, the reply was a disappointing “No fixed plans at the moment”.
While this contradicts to an earlier rumour about a physical collectors edition for the game (link), it does not mean that a physical copy of the game is impossible, it is just not in the plans at the moment.
