Stardew Valley Ver. 1.7 Update Announced
Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has announced that Stardew Valley will receive another update.
ConcernedApe revealed this at the Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons concert, following up with an official announcement on social media afterwards. While the update is confirmed to be in the works, ConcernedApe clarified there is no estimate or release date at the moment.
Okay, I revealed this at the concert last night and now the cat’s out of the bag, so I will confirm for everyone: There will be a Stardew Valley 1.7 update. No release date, no estimate. But it’s happening pic.twitter.com/RnNgc3ERER

This reveal comes a few months after Stardew Valley‘s Ver. 1.6 update was released, at the time planned to be the final update for the game as the developer shifted focus to his next game Haunted Chocolatier. ConcernedApe never ruled out releasing additional updates for Stardew Valley however, saying in a later interview that it could receive updates even “50 years” from now.
