Nintendo Co, Ltd has announced two pieces of news regarding their Classics line of products.

Firstly, pre-orders for the Super Famicom Classic Mini will begin in Japan on September 16, 2017. The system launches on October 5. We’re expecting them to go up at 9am Japan Time on that day on Amazon Japan. Once pre-orders are live, we’ll post an article.

Nintendo also assured that production for the Super Famicom Classic Mini will continue through 2018 due to high demand.

Secondly, the Famicom Classic Mini will be returning to Japan in 2018. More information will be provided in the future.
