Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Bros. Wonder has set a new record for the franchise.

According to the publisher, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is now the fastest selling Super Mario game of all time in Europe. This announcement was made on social media, and accompanied by a number of high ratings given to the game by various European publications:

This news should not be too surprising given the game managed to place second on the UK boxed charts for it’s launch week. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
