Earlier today during the Super Mario Maker 2 Direct, Nintendo announced that they will be holding a Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational at E3 2019.
During this special competition, 4 invited players will compete in custom Super Mario Maker 2 levels created by Nintendo Treehouse. The event will begin on June 8 at 11 a.m. PT at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, and will be followed by the Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate World Championships on the same day. Super Mario Maker 2 launches on June 28 for Nintendo Switch.
