Nintendo has put out two pieces of important news for Super Mario Maker 2, which launches June 28, 2019 for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
First, they revealed a special pre-order bonus for all Super Mario Maker 2 pre-orders – Nintendo Switch Touch Pen Super Mario Maker 2 Edition.
To receive this touch pen, either pre-order the game at a Japanese retailer or via the Nintendo eShop. In the case of Nintendo eShop, a coupon code to claim the touch pen via My Nintendo Store will be sent to the email of your Nintendo Account. Use the coupon code to redeem the touch pen on My Nintendo Store and they will send it to your home for free without any shipping fees.
Next up, the company revealed Super Mario Maker 2 First Time Online Set. This set, which costs 6980 yen plus 8% sales tax (1000 yen more than a copy of the game itself), comes with a code to redeem a 1 year Nintendo Switch Online Individual Plan. The code expires October 31, 2019.
