Universal Studios Japan has announced two pieces of news concerning Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan.

First, the company confirmed that the park will be opened in Spring 2021, a slight delay from the initial Summer 2020 launch due to the coronavirus pandemic. Second, Universal Studios Japan has announced “Mario Cafe & Store” which will open at the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Japan on October 16, 2020.

Mario Cafe & Store will serve food and beverages that will eventually be served at Super Nintendo World, and also offer a small sample of original merchandise that Super Nintendo World will sell next year.
